Cancellation and rescheduling

Appointments may be rescheduled or cancelled without charge provided Advance Minds receives at least 48 hours’ notice before the scheduled appointment time.

As appointments are reserved exclusively for each client and are often in high demand, giving us enough notice means we can offer the appointment to someone else.

How to cancel your appointment

To cancel or reschedule, please contact Advance Minds on 0466 666 334 between 9:00am and 4:00pm. If we are unavailable, leave a detailed voicemail or send a text message or email. Your cancellation is timed from when your message is received.

Late cancellations and missed appointments

A cancellation made with less than 48 hours’ notice is a late cancellation. A missed appointment, or no-show, is where a client does not attend without giving prior notice.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable and the full consultation fee applies, because your appointment time has been reserved exclusively for you and is unlikely to be filled at short notice.

This applies to new client appointments as well.

Rebooking appointments

Clients who give at least 48 hours’ notice may reschedule without charge.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice incur the full consultation fee. Once that fee has been paid, a new appointment may be booked subject to availability.

Therapy bundle sessions

Clients who have purchased a therapy package receive flexible scheduling and priority access to the waiting list where appointments become available. While every effort is made to accommodate your preferred time, availability cannot be guaranteed.

Therapy bundle purchases are non-refundable once commenced, or where otherwise required by law.

Refunds

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice receive a full refund if requested, or may be rescheduled at no additional cost.

Appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable and the full consultation fee applies.

If Advance Minds needs to cancel an appointment, you will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.

This policy does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
