Make a complaint

If something has gone wrong, we want to hear it. Telling us will not affect the care you receive.

Raising a concern will not affect your care you can keep seeing the same therapist, change therapist, or stop, and none of that depends on whether you complain.

We value your feedback and are committed to resolving your concerns

At Advance Minds, we genuinely care about your experience and appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention. We are dedicated to addressing any issues you may have encountered and will do everything possible to rectify the situation.

You do not need to have it worded perfectly, and you do not need to be certain. If something did not sit right, tell us and we will look into it.

How to raise it

Three ways to tell us

Talk to your therapist

Often the quickest fix. If you are comfortable raising it directly, bring it to your next session or ask for a phone call.

Write to the practice

If you would rather it did not go to your therapist, email the practice directly. info@advanceminds.com.au

What happens next

After you tell us

Your complaint is reviewed by us, and we will work with you to address it until you are satisfied, within 30 days.

If that does not happen, you can escalate the matter to the Australian Counselling Association. All our therapists are ACA-registered, and the ACA runs its own independent complaints process.
