Life coaching

For getting unstuck and moving forward, rather than for treating a clinical condition.

Coaching is not counselling and the difference matters. If what is in the way is anxiety, depression, trauma or addiction, therapy is the right door and we will say so. See our counselling services.

What coaching is for

Coaching starts from where you want to get to, not from what is wrong. It suits people who are functioning but stuck: clear enough to work, unclear about direction, and tired of turning the same decision over without moving on it.

Sessions are practical. You leave with something to do, and the next session starts with what happened when you did it.

Mindset

The patterns that keep repeating: avoidance, perfectionism, second-guessing, or the story you tell yourself about what you are capable of.

Career and work

Direction, a change you keep postponing, difficult working relationships, or stepping into something bigger than the last role.

Personal goals

Health, study, money, habits. Setting goals that survive contact with a real week, and building the follow-through to keep them.

Accountability

Regular sessions with someone whose job is to ask whether you did the thing. For many people that is the whole missing ingredient.

Who you would see

Coaching at Advance Minds

Coaching sits alongside our counselling work rather than replacing it. That matters, because it means if something clinical surfaces partway through, you are already inside a practice that can help with it rather than being sent elsewhere to start again.
